We start from the snout … The muzzle should be worked closing laps. To avoid confusing the beginning chain with the first sc of the round insert a paperclip into the last stitch worked, then slip stitch to the top of the first sc worked, make a chain and start working with a sc in the same stitch. Once you have worked back around to the  paper clip, do the last sc, pull it out and hook it to the last sc just worked, and slip stitch again to the first sc in the this round. Correctly performing these rounds is essential to form the correct shape for the snout.

Round 1: With Pink , 7 ch, ( working in an oval ), insert hook in the second chain nearest crochet work and 1 sc in each of next 5ch spaces, 3 sc in the last chain, continue to work round the opposite side, 1 sc in each of next 4 ch spaces, 3 sc in last space. Close the round as explained above.

Lap 2:  1 sc in each of the next 5 stitches, 1 sc each of the  in the 3 around the end  4 sc, 1 sc in the remaining 3. Close the round.

Lap 3:  (3 sc, inc1) repeat until the end, make 1 sc in last remaining sc. Close the round.

Laps 5-6: 1 sc in each stitch of the previous round. Close the round.
